Day 1

Saturday 6th June 2019

Arrival to Ohrid airport, North Macedonia. Tour guide Genci will pick us up. 

Check-in the hotel in Ohrid - Boutique Villa Arte

12-13.30pm - lunch at the local restaurant – Noa. Lunch included.

After 13.30pm - the tour guide will take us around Ohrid – boat trip, visit the old city, famous churches. Ohrid is famous about the Pearls, feel free to explore the local Bazzar. 

18.30pm - arrival to the hotel Boutique Villa Arte

19.30-21pm – dinner at the local restaurant - Dalga. Dinner not included.

After dinner is our free time to enjoy summer night near the Ohrid lake.

Day 2

Sunday 30th June 2019

7.30am – breakfast served at the hotel Boutique Villa Arte

8.30am - leaving Ohrid city and short stop at the Bay of the Bones museum, visit the unique museum on the water. Tour guide will learn us about Ohrid history.

10.30am - visiting The Monastery of Saint Naum, North Macedonia: exploring the local bazaar and the tour guide will show you around The Monastery of Saint Naum. Truly spectacular view. Please have some local money Macedonian denars so you can buy few souvenirs. 

11.30am - crossing the border from North Macedonia to Pogradec, Albania

12-12.30pm - stopping for a short visit at Pogradec.

12.30-2pm - lunch in Pogradec. Lunch is not included.

2.15pm - leaving to Tirana, Albania. 

16.30pm - checking-in at the Airbnb in Tirana centre.

17.30-20pm - Djati Express- cable car, Tirana. 

20-21pm - traditional dinner – Dinner not included.

Day 3 

Monday 1st July 2019

7.30-8.30am – breakfast at local coffee. Guide will show us local place.

After breakfast going to Durres, seaside of Albania. Historical beautiful city. 

10am-12.30pm - exploring Durres, Amphitheatre and National History museum and relaxing by the beach.

Before 13pm - leaving to Kruja (50 min journey) – the most beautiful Albanian castle and local hero Skanderbeg historical place. 

14pm-17pm - Staying at Kruja castle, the tour guide will tell us history, guide you through museums, after its our free time, the biggest souvenirs place, so please take some money with you (local money Leks).

14pm-15pm - Lunch at Kruja. Lunch is not included.

Later in the evening going back to Tirana (40 min journey).

From 18.00 tour guide will show around the capital city Tirana, the old bazzar and the new bazzar and famous objects in the city.

20pm-21.30 - traditional dinner – Dinner included, served at Natyre e Qete restaurant.

Day 4

Tuesday 2nd July 2019

7.30-8am - breakfast in the hotel Select City Center Hotel, checking out.

8.15am - leaving Tirana towards Durres (40 min journey), spending 1 hour in the city after heading to Lushnje, a small Albanian village, to eat traditional byreks with cheese, spinach or meat. Tirana – Lushnje – about 40 mins journey.

Then heading to Gjirokaster. Lushnje – Gjirokaster – about 2 hours and 10min journey.  Gjirokaster, is a stunning old city in South Albania. Lunch will be served on the top castle-hill, the highest spot of the city with a beautiful panoramic view.

After having lunch, you will head to the last destination of the day – Saranda, amazing seaside city.  Get ready for amazing views.

Check-in to the hotel Hotel Ari and staying in Saranda till 5th July Friday afternoon.

If you still have energy – club, bars and local night life are offered to explore near the beach in Saranda.

Day 5

Wednesday 3rd July 2019

7.30-8.30am – breakfast in Hotel Ari, and heading to a historical place with a beautiful view - Butrint National Park, just 20 min away from the hotel. 

Later, leaving to explore the famous Blue Eye - just 40 mins away from Saranda. 

And the last destination of sightseeing is Lëkurësi Castle – the top spot of Saranda.

After is your free time for lunch, and staying at the best beach in Albania – Ksamil.

18.30-20.00pm - dinner. After dinner is your free time to enjoy summer nights near the beach in Saranda.

Day 6

Thursday 4th July 2019

7.30-8.30am - breakfast at the Hotel Ari. You will be offered to stay again at Ksamil’s beach unless you want to explore other beaches. If you are interested, water activities and opportunity to see different islands are offered. 

Regarding lunch – please advise when you ready and what would you like to eat as the tour guide will recommend a nice place for lunch. Or ask in the morning and the tour guide will advise you.

18.30-20.00pm – delicious dinner. After dinner it’s your free time to enjoy summer nights near the beach.

Day 7

Friday 5th July 2019

Lazy morning, breakfast at the Hotel Ari, beach and later in the afternoon around 12pm, heading back through Riviera to Tirana, upon your request, the tour guide might stop at the different beaches if you would like to swim.

Optional – if you are tired we can skip it, but it’s beautiful to see. Resting and getting ready for Petrele’s castle and Tirana’s night life as Blloku or Sky Bar.

18.30-20.00pm dinner at the Hotel – Arber Hotel

Day 8

Saturday 6th July 2019

7.30- 8.30am – breakfast at the Arber Hotel. Getting ready, packing luggage. 

Taxi will take you to my office at 10am, leaving luggage and going to explore Tirana city centre – the capital of Albania. 

Elsa will show you the Tirana city centre, Artificial park and many more touristic places. Also, advise for a nice place for lunch.

Elsa will book a taxi from my agency at 4.30pm and taxi will take you to the Tirana airport.
