Winter holidays in Kosovo
Kosovo is surely one of the most remote and exciting outdoor holiday destinations of the Balkans.
It is nestled between two main mountain ranges, Sharr mountain on it's south border with North Macedonia and Accursed mountain (Rugova) with its National park on the west border with Albania and Montenegro.
If you are up for a skiing experience then you should head to the Brezovica ski resort located on the North side of Sharr mountain. From here you can start your daily ski-touring towards some of the peaks around such as Piribeg and Black Rock peak both higher than 2500m. Good thing is that you can use the lift which goes up to 2300m and from there are easily accessible steep lines that are just 30-60 mins of touring. Piribeg is a peak on the border with North Macedonia.

Winter holidays in Montenegro
Kolashin is a town in northern Montenegro and has a population of nearly 3,000. It is the biggest centre of the Montenegro’s mountain tourism sue to its positioning and connectivity by rail and road resort.
During the summer ever increasing numbers of people hike through the sun-drenched alpine forests, raft through the raging white waters of the Tara Canyon or visit Biogradska Gora National Park. All situated some 15 minutes from Kolashin making Kolashin an all year round retreat.
Kolashin has an already established ski center, situated at an altitude of 1450m, perched on side of the Bjelasica Mountain, with six ski lifts and no existing ski in/ski out facilities. The ski season starts in middle December and runs through to middle April.
